Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ReadAloud+ ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Educated Wish LLC ("we", "us", or "our").

Description of Service

ReadAloud+ is an iOS application that combines document scanning, optical character recognition (OCR), and text-to-speech (TTS) to help you scan printed or digital documents and listen to them read aloud. The App offers both free and premium tiers with varying levels of functionality.

Accounts

You may need to create an account to access certain features of the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update it as necessary.

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

Subscriptions and Billing

ReadAloud+ offers a freemium model with optional paid subscriptions that unlock premium features. All subscription purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.
• We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements. RevenueCat does not process payments directly.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, features, content, and branding, is the intellectual property of Educated Wish LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of any documents or content you scan or import into the App. We do not claim any rights over your content.

User Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others by scanning or distributing copyrighted material without authorization
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's services or servers
• Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose

Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. OCR accuracy and text-to-speech quality may vary depending on document quality, language, and other factors.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Educated Wish LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.

Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law shall survive termination of these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of Georgia.
