ReadAloud+ ("the App") is developed and operated by Educated Wish LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address for authentication purposes. We use Supabase for secure authentication. We do not store passwords directly—all authentication is handled through secure third-party providers.

Subscription Information

Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We do not collect or store your payment information.

Camera and Photos

The App uses your device camera to scan documents and can import images from your photo library. All images are processed on-device or sent to secure AI services for text extraction (OCR). We do not store your scanned images on any server. Document data exists only in memory during your session and is discarded when you navigate away.

Usage Data

We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the App, such as which features are used and general performance metrics. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your account and manage your subscription
• To provide document scanning, text extraction, and text-to-speech services

Data Storage and Security

ReadAloud+ is designed with a privacy-first, ephemeral data model. Scanned documents are not stored persistently—they exist only in memory during your active session. Audio generated from your documents is cached locally on your device for performance and is not transmitted to external servers.

Your account data is stored securely using Supabase with industry-standard encryption. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store — subscription payment processing
• RevenueCat — subscription status management
• Supabase — user authentication
• Google Gemini API — AI-powered text extraction (OCR) for premium users
• LemonFox API — premium text-to-speech voice synthesis

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies for details on how they handle data.

Tracking and Advertising

ReadAloud+ does not track you across other apps or websites. We do not use advertising identifiers, and we do not serve ads. We do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.

Children's Privacy

ReadAloud+ is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of anonymous analytics
